Potomac Mills Gets New Icon

The shopping mall’s iconic, freestanding sign along I-95 in Woodbridge, VA, is being replaced by a new sign which will stand 140 feet tall and incorporate color-changing capabilities.

Commuters on the heavily traveled I-95 corridor connecting the northern Virginia suburbs with Washington DC will soon notice a towering new icon currently being erected to identify Potomac Mills Mall in Woodbridge, VA. Standing 140 feet tall and weighing 31,000 pounds, the new sign will be the centerpiece of the mall’s new identity, an image also to be reflected in other signs identifying the main entrance and directing visitors to various store locations.
