Pittsburgh Steelers Appeal City’s Ruling on Signage

In a strange twist on the local sign code, the Pittsburgh Zoning Board recently turned down the team’s request to utilize strategically colored seats at Heinz Field to create signage viewable from above the stadium. The Steelers are appealing this decision to Allegheny County’s Common Pleas Court.
